our house. in the middle of our street.

I was considering housing for January and the next semester when I realized that it really doesn’t matter where I live next semester. Because I have put up with my current living situation and not thought much of it. Right now I live in a house almost 800 years old. I live in a room that only has three walls. There is no heating, for the first couple weeks there was no hot water. I can hear the people who live above us perfectly and pigeons tap dance on and throw themselves at our skylight in the mornings. I sleep on a cot. Everything is dusty. Our room has poor lighting. We fixed our shower head with a plastic cup. I walk up five flights (74 steps) of stairs to get to my room. It’s a fifteen minute walk to school, uphill, dodging busses and tourists. I really don’t see how anything in Provo can compete with that.
