Allora!: Top Ten Reasons To Go Back To BYU

We Have Moved....Here

So quite frequently in Italian people say "Allora" which means "Okay, now..." A sort of jumpstart to any new topic. It is particularly attention grabbing to me, because I always think they are saying, "aLauren!"

I am here until December 1st and couldn't be happier about it.

Summary of my life in Italy:

Gelato flavors tried: 24
Italian men hit on by: 0
Byzantine paintings observed: 978
Stairs climbed: 3.5 million

I live in a room with only three walls. It’s a balcony that overlooks the dining room.

The family cat comes up in conversation at the dinner table about four times a week.

From this week forward I have to draw four pictures of garlic every week…every week.

My Italian teacher is awesome and also hates the curriculum BYU sent her. She wears orange a lot.

I live in a house built in the 1200s. TWELVE.

I have yet to eat gelato without getting it on my nose first.

Sharlie, Lynzie, and I have ensured that this adventure is a musical one.

Everyone in our group is artistically inclined in some way.
Just not Peter's way.
